Through merSETA Learnerships 2021-2022 merSETA offers a series of learning programs for South Africans who wish to receive training in a work environment. The merSETA Learnerships, which last a total of 18 months, are a fantastic opportunity to acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills to prepare better than future employees. In addition, all learners who have made impressive progress are entitled to an accredited ERC qualification. This qualification is granted as long as the learners meet all the standards of units attached to the program. Applicants wishing to apply can also find out about their university career centre if there are open places. Ads are also shown in newspapers and/or on the radio as soon as they are available. Applicants are invited to register with the Ministry of Labour as unemployed to seek learning ability. Applicants can do so through the link provided as part of the application process. Applicants must ensure that their contact information is kept up to date and that they are accessible at all times through these contact methods. Applicants who have registered can be contacted if an appropriate learner is available if the candidates meet all the requirements.

Learners are guided by professional employers previously admitted by their respective workstations, which are the foundation of the industry. These training providers are directly selected by MERSETA ETQA as suitable teachers for your learning. Throughout the program, learners receive continuous monitoring and feedback to keep an overview of their progress. Once the learning is successfully completed, participants will have the opportunity to enrol in another learning ability. However, you also have a chance to get a job if you are not currently tied to a particular company. Most of these apprenticeships will last between 12 and 24 months. Students also receive a monthly bursary, but these generally do not include transportation, meals and accommodation. Apprenticeship is not a guarantee for a permanent position once it is completed, it will be the employer`s choice. However, applicants will be in a better position to enter the workforce once they have completed their apprenticeship.

Depending on the qualifications, each learner may include a different list of requirements. However, anyone who joins the program has the same responsibility to stick to everything the Committee asks for. Otherwise, the overall result of your qualifications may be a drawback.
